The main goal for this project was to get comfortable with the tools inside Cinema 4D and see how materials and lighting can completely transform a scene.
I started with the basics, default rectangles, spheres, cylinders, and cubes, and pushed to see how much I could transform them using the core tools in Cinema 4D. By layering Booleans, Sweeps, Extrudes, and Arrays, I was able to turn those simple primitives into a variety of interesting shapes.
Once I was happy with my shapes, I applied a default grey material to do some basic lighting for my scene. For my base I did a simple 3-point lighting set up with an added dome light in case I wanted to add an HDRI environment to one of the treatments.
